    Business cards of my PowerCore Partners are a huge referral tool in my toolbelt! I keep 2 sets, one in my office and one in my car so I have them always available. I also keep cards of past members so if that seat is not currently filled on my team, I can still refer to them and they get the continued benefit from having been a PowerCore member, It’s the gift that will keep on giving!

    One of the most important tools for me is membership in PowerCore. PowerCore gives me the opportunity to build personal relationships with other professionals so that I can refer my clients with confidence.

    My “Speed Square” to make effective referrals is the Weekly Agenda. I carry it in my Day Timer to always have it handy for a quick and accurate referral contacts.

    My Team Roster is with me everywhere, all the time. In the IT field my computer bag is always within arms reach, and my Team Roster is always in there. Clients know that everything in there is a highly valuable tool to me, so they know a business card that comes out, is going to be someone I trust to take great care of them!

    One huge advantage that we have is the diversity of disciplines that exist on our team. Everyone represented does work that someone needs at one time or another, so I carry business cards and also my roster, since in addition to giving out one of our own’s information, I like to follow it up with at least an email introduction where I can tell a little bit more about the person I am referring to the prospective client.

    Aside from what has already been said, my speed square is the PowerCore website. I always have the PowerCore website loaded with the team or member directory page on my browser whether I’m in the office or on my phone when I’m in the field. The minute that I hear any clues that someone needs a great referral connection I make sure to tell them that I have an incredible group of professionals in every business or personal category who can help and am able to provide them with contact information immediately.

    My speed square is the Cam Card app on my cell phone. I have all my Powercore team members business cards stored on my app so when a conversation comes up with a potential referral, I can easily just forward to that referral a copy of their business card so they have their information immediately. I can then do a 3 way email to introduce everyone.

    My go-to tool is the CamCard app on my cell phone. I keep PC Team members on it to easily make referrals and to also quickly identify other PC team members who visit/sub for our team. I can easily forward contact information or make introductions using the app. I also keep a copy of our team roster handy to easily refer to everyone’s Gate openers as well.

    I have a stand of business cards displayed in my adjusting room. As a chiropractor there are a wide variety of conversations I have with patients. I never know when the opportunity to make a good referral is going to present itself. Having all the cards displayed is an easy way to keep everyone top of mind and it often sparks conversations about those that are displayed.

    My go-to tool is my phone. The conversations that I have with prospects, clients, and friends are so thorough, that we talk about a lot in our conversations. I am always looking for clues in the conversation that might lead to a referral so that I can quickly send them a contact I have in my phone or offer to introduce them in a three-way email so that they can get what they need to make their life easier and in their timeline.

    I have my roster near by at all times. though I am listening for clues to refer a team members, providing the physical business card may cause that connection to ‘click’ beyond just my referral. the business card offers additional info; listing all services, website, location, whether on twitter or faceboo, etc. the business card may make a connection with that referral that I wasn’t even aware of.

    Giving referrals is so much easier when you have taken the time to really get to know your fellow PC team members and the entire breadth of their business. I have found that subbing on other teams and always setting up coffees is a great way to expand my referral base. And I always keep a copy of the team rosters with me because it reminds me of their Gate Openers.

    One of my tools is the weekly schedule with the team roster on the back. Each week during the info minutes I write down key words that will help trigger referral opportunities next to each team members name and at the bottom I add the subs. During the week I keep it handy on my desk with the team roster of business cards ready to hand out the card. Just having it on my desk has sparked many conversations from clients that are in PowerCore or just ask what it is since it states on the cover “Build Your Business Naturally”.

    Personal experience is my best tool when referring a fellow PowerCore team member. It’s easy to refer Michael Axt, Diane Campbell, and Tyler Jones when I know what a great job they’ve done for me when I’ve used their services. I know that anyone I send their way will receive the same top notch level of service.

    Team rosters and me email list go hand in hand for me. I particularly like to introduce Powercore members to business not currently in the Powercore family. By having an updated team roster each week, it allows me quick access to names and contact information. My email database allows me to send contact information even quicker when I;m have a referral conversation.

    Podcasting for me is a great way to take a deep dive into the business of others. When we can sit down, have a cup of coffee, spend an hour to record a podcast and get to really know how a business can help others, it gives me a clear understanding of that person and what they do. Then, when I talk to others after editing and listening to that recording I am more eager to refer them to others.

    In my role with Money Mailer and as the primary lead source and sales person in my territory, I interact with multiple prospects every week. Some of the business owners I meet are not necessarily good candidates for my business, but may be candidates for PC team members. It’s always a matter of asking the right questions to determine what I can offer and suggest to leave a prospect better off than when I met them.

    The previous answers are all tools I incorporate. An additional tool is the endorsement letters that are posted on the PowerCore website. I find it very easy to make a referral when I can reference specific experiences from others in addition to myself. The other wonderful thing about endorsements is that others put great stock in them since someone would not take extra time to write an endorsement letter unless they had a truly fantastic experience.

    For me this is twofold depending on who I’m dealing with. Friends, colleagues, neighbors coffee works best. Just being able to listen and pick up on clues. For clients it’s the intake meeting when I’m reviewing tax documents. It gives me a great opportunity to ask the right questions that may provide a referral to someone.

    The team roster is a handy tool that is part of my everyday activities. I am constantly meeting with homeowners and commercial tenants who are seeking construction advice. At times, my customers will mention obstacles in their lives, this is when I strike and pull out my team roster and recommend the appropriate team member.

    Getting to know our team has been a great speed square for me! Knowing the benefits of each service as well as what as what sets each one apart in their industry helps me to refer to each one from a personal viewpoint. I listen for verbal and visual cues when I’m out and about.

    We have a list of our clients that we review weekly and give our client satisfaction rankings by customer; how happy are they? That list also serves as a guide where we know what our clients are struggling with. Do they need help with IT? Payroll? Legal? Organization? Their back hurts (really!). Are they relocating? Does their website need jnorovement? Health insurance? Commercial or auto insurance? You name it… it’s a quick way to make referrals and also help our clients even when they’re not directly asking “do you have a good person for….”?

    Because my client relationships require so much trust, the biggest tool I have are the relationships with my power core team members. Knowing that I can trust them to provide great services to my clients is absolutely invaluable and makes referring to them so easy!
