What to DO to GIVE Referrals
Builder’s Tool: Maintenance | Purpose: Continuity

and Builders keep their tools oiled – every time they put fuel in a chainsaw they also add oil to the reservoir. Without oil the saw bar and the chain would create so much friction it could bind up.

Give an example of a referral you give to keep your activity with your clients running smoothly. Explain it to us the way you explain it to a client.

In the current world of the healthcare marketplace, an increase in revenues can have a hefty penalty on the insurance premiums you have paid in the past. I refer all of my small family business owner clients to our health insurance expert, Carrie Leary, because she knows how to get quotes from insurance companies that are affordable. Just comparing the marketplace rate to the off marketplace rate doesn’t prepare you for what happens to the rate when you make more money in a subsequent year. I have seen the devastating PTC adjustments that result when a business owner make more than they projected when applying for coverage, sometimes to the tune of $24k. Carrie explains this all and informs my clients so they are wary of that very nasty surprise.
