and Botanists consider anything with seeds inside to be a fruit.

So a tomato is a fruit: that’s knowledge.

Knowing not to put tomato in fruit salad is wisdom.

Give an example of knowledge in your industry and share how your wisdom makes you valuable to your clients.

One of the huge no-nos in Facebook world is to make a post on a business page and tell people they will be entered in a prize drawing if they CLICK on the post, LIKE the Page and SHARE the post by tagging other people in it. This is called Engagement Bait and it is against their Terms of Service; doing so will lower engagement on your business page and can put you in risk of FB jail where your page is slowed down, possibly hidden, and eventually closed down. This is knowledge. Wisdom comes from knowing that you don’t need to do Engagement Bait and that you can build a great audience by posting stories about your business, testimonials, humor, questions – and if all else fails cat memes!

My knowledge as a real estate agent includes researching the comps of homes’ values. The wisdom I bring is my 24 years experience helping clients often look beyond the hard data and include other factors like the Spring Seller’s season, days on market, location, and how well the home shows to determine value.

Wisdom in the accounting industry comes from having seen the scenarios of thousands of businesses and transactions and seeing how to make them work in the best possible light for the clients. Whether this is from crafting sales of businesses to designing compensation plans. What to spend money on and what not to. How does your business stack up to others. What have I seen work and not work. That experience gives the wisdom that my clients benefit from.

With my expertise as a health insurance agent, I am able to educate people about how the different types of health insurance work. This is particularly important when clients who are price sensitive and think that the cheapest premium is the best option not knowing it may end up costing them more down the line due to the minimal level of coverage.

Many web designers may be able to make a visually pleasing site but not all have the marketing knowledge to be able to organize and present the information in such a way that a small business will convert viewers into customers.

Many web developers may have the technical knowledge to code a fast and well functioning website, but not all can design a visually pleasing easy to use website, as well as know how to present the information in order to convert.

With my background in advertising, design and marketing I put those skills altogether to give my clients what is needed for a beautiful site that will make them stand out and convert customers to clients.
