  and When you give a referral, what do you do to make it “signed, sealed, and delivered.”

Do you say “I’ll see her Thursday morning – I’ll give her your number.”

Or do you dial the Member right then, explain the situation, and hand your client your phone?

    When I have a possible referral, I try to use the medium of communication the prospect prefers to first see if they would be interested. Often, that means sending a text or making a quick call. Once they confirm they are interested in the connection, I will send a 3-way email connecting the referral to the member. If the referral is complex, a potentially big project, or a GateOpener for the member, I will often suggest a meeting day, time and location so I can be there to help facilitate the connection in person.
