    My newest favorite client came from a PowerCore referral. Original Pancake House changed ownership last year and was at a cross roads of how to start reaching new customers and younger customers. Matt Hirsch overhead the new owners trying to figure out what to do about online reviews and Facebook and that was the trigger for him to introduce me into the conversation.
    We started to focus on helping them show up on Google for lunch restaurants and brunch restaurants since they were mainly known as just a breakfast spot. They added wifi and other millenial friendly menu items to attract a younger audience. We responded and actively asked their customers for online reviews which helped them get chosen over the other competition in the area.
    Coming up on their year of working with us, they decided to add their second Original Pancake location in Stone Mountain to RevLocal’s services.
    Since their time with us they have seen a big increase in customers for lunch and brunch. Majority of people came early in the morning and left. Now they have a steady stream of customers through breakfast and lunch. The owners and managers commented they had definitely seen an increase in their bottom line since adding our services over a year ago.

    A powercore referral from many years ago, they needed to refinance. They’d called a few other people but were having problems getting someone to call them back. I did call them back, completed the refinance with them. Since then I’ve done loans for three of their children, completing another refinance with the original client, and looking at an investment purchase later this year with them. All I had to do was return a call and answer questions. I feel our weekly status updates and keeping them updated with their loan gave them the confidence to keep using me and referring their children to me.

    One of our favorite customers Sports-Travel walked into our doors, one week after we purchased our Minuteman Press and moved it to Decatur ( Avondale Estates ).

    They are a startup that hosts Collegiate Sporting Event Tournaments. They focus on making the travel event a first class experience for the Athletes and Coaches.

    They unfortunately had a hard time receiving quotes back on Feather Flags.

    In turn for us we were able to produce his event signage, feather flags, event programs, lanyards, cornhole award stickers and filling swags bags. Swag bags were filled with custom designed shirts, sunglasses, and Miami items.

    Timing was tight, so we jumped in the car, Miami bound to deliver as they setup for the event.

    For us we enjoyed going the extra mile and developing to be his single source.

    This patient came to me after having a hysterectomy. She moved here from Oklahoma. She had been to several doctors that were trying to manage her hormones. She was miserable. She could not take care of her kids. The last doctor told her she would just have to learn how to live this way.
    I did a saliva test to accurately measure her hormones. I gave her three amino acid IV’s. She now feels great. Takes care of her kids. She has referred her niece and her sister to me.

    I have a client who had a huge increase on their auto policies. They were shopping around for a better premium. After I ran quotes for him, he told me that there were 3 other companies that came close or lower than mine. I asked him to send me the quotes and provided a chart comparing coverage and premiums between all the quotes. I really enjoyed going over the differences with him and showing him the value he would get for an extra $75 annually. He agreed that my quotes provided more coverage than the others and felt comfortable with his new policies that provided more coverage for less than his prior policy.

    One of my best/favorite clients came to me when another advisor left the firm. It’s pretty customary that a client will follow the advisor if the relationship is good. However, this client was in his 80’s and wasn’t getting any advise outside what stock or bond to buy. When I reached out and offered to sit down with him and discuss his estate plan, he was thrilled. What was a $400,000 relationship quickly turned into over $2,000,000 once I helped him consolidate accounts he had laying around all over the place. What makes him one of my best clients isn’t just the size of the relationship, it’s that he is a joy to work with and actually appreciates all I do for/with him to make sure his goals are met!

    Kristin and Scott are two of my favorite clients, and we recently worked together again. Kristin’s brother referred the couple to me when they moved to Atlanta 7 years ago. We found a great house for them in Tucker – it had all the features they needed for their first home.
    Recently, they decided they need to move closer to downtown, where Scott’s company was located. The commute from Tucker was getting unbearable. They also wanted to leave in a diverse community, so we focused on the West End area.
    They were able to buy without selling their home, which was good since they had accumulated so much in 7 years and it would be a challenge to empty it. So we closed on their new home in May, and are currently working on “estate sales” to clear the rest. As soon as they are ready, I will consult with them on what they need to do to prepare this house for a quick, successful sale.
    They are a joy to work with and have also referred several other CDC people to me to help buy homes intown.

    Their current broker was not servicing their company and employees with respect to their Employee Benefits.

    [2] describe, specifically, what you did:
    I met with the CEO, CFO and Leadership to explain how working with a Boutique Firm actually is more beneficial than a BIG SHOP. Running the quotes with the various carriers are going to produce the same results from a pricing standpoint and anyone can do that. My firm actually does one-on-one consultations with employees which helps them understand ALL the benefits the company offers so that they VALUE the benefits.

    [3] Share what they are able to do now, because of you:
    We are an Advocate of the Employer and take over the Employee Benefits part of their business and communicate directly with the Employees which allows HR to work within the business and not on things they don’t understand as well as we do.

    When I first spoke to my now favorite client Avery, she needed a newborn photographer. Her wedding photographer had agreed to photograph her son, but after rescheduling twice, she ultimately backed out saying she didn’t feel comfortable with newborn photography. This meant Avery needed a photographer ASAP, since her son was already a month old. (To get those adorable squishy sleepy newborn photos, I usually photograph babies when they are 5-10 days old!)

    I went to Avery’s house the next day, brought all of my blankets, wraps, and other newborn supplies, and used my best baby whispering techniques. I managed to get her son to sleep and was able to get so many sweet photos of him! I also took photos of the whole family, including a lovely image of Avery’s 2 step-children proudly holding their new baby brother.

    Now I’ve become the family photographer and Avery has gorgeous photos of her new family hanging all over the walls of their new house! I have photographed Avery’s family 4 times since then, and I have another session scheduled for this fall when her son will be 3 and a half.

    Well, I don’t know about being my favorite or most enjoyable, and they certainly weren’t my most profitable client…but is always rewarding…Big Johnny came to us because many years ago, when he was Little Johnny, he got arrested after he was pulled over and the police found drugs in his car. He went to court without a lawyer and plead guilty to the charge, never having been informed of his options. Nowadays, after some great criminal justice reforms, the law allows us to seek retroactive application of Georgia’s 1st offender law to cases that have jacked up a person’s criminal record preventing them from any number of things ranging from getting better jobs to finding housing. We were able to get 1st offender applied to Big Johnny’s case, his record was sealed, and he was able to get that promotion he was seeking at work.

    I am happy to say all of my clients are my favorite. It’s kind of like asking me to pick my favorite child. And in some ways my clients are my children. However, for the purpose of this exercise, I will pick the Federal Government. I am a registered SAM vendor and am honored to work with several judges. Typically, my journey begins when they are newly appointed to the position and stay with them throughout their career. The newness of the position and the assignment of transforming their chambers into their own can be overwhelming to say the least. Because I have worked in this system for many year’s I am able to help them walk through the process of carpet, paint, furniture, artwork and accessory selections that meet the spending boundaries that are regulated and monitored. I just completed a new interior space where the Judge is only 40 years old. Her style is very different from the typical traditional chamber. It leaned towards Mid Century modern with soft colors and contemporary artwork. She is very pleased with her new light, airy and clean lined chambers and we both felt it was a win for her.

    One of my favorite and most profitable clients is a friend who lives in my neighborhood. She is a runner who always seems to be in the midst of training for a race or marathon (which is often). As such, she always has some ache or pain, usually in her lower back and hips. Aside from the hands-on manual therapy that I do with her and exercises that I prescribe, she is a particular fan of trigger point dry needling. When I dry needle the muscles in her gluteal and calf regions, she is able to keep to her training regimen and make it to marathon day. Of course I usually end up seeing her AFTER the actual marathon as well….

    CPA Firm Website Design

    Kristy works for a large CPA firm south of Atlanta and was referred to me by a PowerCore, Search Engine Marketing expert, Hamza Davis. They wanted to update their website. I designed their new site, improved upon their branding color guidelines, as well as added industry specific content for the film industry. They were so happy with the new design and even won and industry design competition for their new website.

    Though Susan loved the brief, intense and infrequent concept of the 20 minute workout; she started coming to Next Age Fitness because I was going to help get her knee stronger so that she could increase the length of her daily walk. She knew how important activity was to health and longevity but her knee was slowing her down.

    I set her up on the ARX equipment, coached her to do her very best on upper body and coached her to do what she could with her lower body. I always set a goal of beating a previous performance and showed her different ways to make the lower body exercise a little harder. By her 25th workout she was substantially stronger and able to increase her daily walk. She is now on her 125th workout and continues to take the weekly challenge of beating a previous performance.
