and Take a look at a We Did Business slip. What do new clients want to know before they decide to do business with you?

How long do they take, as a general rule, to evaluate and decide?

When you get an introduction that takes more than a year to turn into a client, what is the delay about?

I think because businesses don’t really understand Social Media and algorithms and analytics, but they know they need to be online, they want to know that I spend a lot of time online and really understand how Facebook and Instagram and LinkedIn (among other platforms) really work. For some clients, they hire me the first time we talk, other clients can take a few months. I think the delay is that they are evaluating ROI of spending Marketing dollars.

Clients usually want to know what the average return on investment is for our previous program participants.

Our program participants normally experience average increases in productivity of 23.5% and 7.3% in profit.

It normally takes a week or two for clients to decide to join a program if they already have employee training and development budgeted for. If it takes more than a year it is usually because our clients need to propose a training budget and wait for it to get approved.
