What should you do if you’re involved in an accident?
    1. The first thing to do is to call 911 and not you’re attorney (if you think that you are at fault you should call your attorney after that).
    2. Exchange contact and insurance information with the other driver and make note of their behavior, any odor of alcohol and anything they say but do not say anything about the cause of the accident yourself.
    3. Listen to what the other driver says to anyone else at the scene including, if possible, the police officer.
    4. Take pictures of the vehicles and surroundings.
    5. Look for witnesses and get their contact information and statements unless your injuries, if any, prevent you from doing so.
    6. Answer the police officer’s questions truthfully without volunteering unnecessary information (unless you’ve already spoken to your attorney and then follow their instructions; let the officer know if you’ve been injured even if you don’t need or want emergency transport to a hospital.

I received a great question about securing a website. I realized that I needed to expand on that information for my team so they understood some important things they could do for security. Here are the six infominutes I created:

    1. Backup your site! This is the best thing you can do to prevent losing information should your site be comprimised
    2. Recovering from a Hack – How did it happen and what can we do to prevent it again in the future
    3. SSL Certificates – What are they and why do you need them
    4. Updating your site – You must keep your core software, themes and plugins updated to maintain a secure website
    5. Passwords – Make sure you have strong passwords on all of your sites
    6. Error Logs – What they are and how to read them to gain insightful information.

I offer a WordPress maintenance service which includes a free security audit and makes sure that your core, plugins, and themes are always up to date to avoid any security issues on your website. It is a very affordable way to prevent a disaster and avoid costly recoveries!

I was asked early in my Power Core days about fees.
That can be broken down into 6 topics.

    1. What client solutions pay commissions and which clients are a fit for those services.

2.Which solutions require one time sales charges, and which clients are looking for those types of options.

    3. Which clients solutions require ongoing management of assets, and whom those types of services are best for.

    4. Why talk to me, instead of an online service. What are the difference in the fee structure.

5.Overtime what type of fee structure works best for different types of clients.

    6. The different types of licenses and the products that coincide with them and how they correlate with different fees.

Why bank with a smaller community minded bank:
    1) Underwriting decisions are made locally with more understanding of the local markets
    2) The focus is on relationship banking and not transactional business
    3) smaller portfolio of clients which allows more time to get to know my clients
    4) Decision makers live in the same communities that our clients do and we have a strong desire to see our communities thrive
    5) we have the time to fully understand all of our clients needs
    6) We support our local clients by being their customers as well

I am new to the Peachtree Team and very excited to have joined. I have not had an opportunity to give a 7-minute, so I will talk about a community support program that my business launched in March.
As a small business in Atlanta we are continuing to struggle through the pandemic, and we know we are not alone.
    • During the stay-at-home we launched a fundraiser to give back to local small businesses – We call it the “I Heart Program”
    • For every item sold that is co-branded with the business, we give back $10
    • The give back is to help support the employees of the business
    • Even though the fundraising amount reduces our profits, it helps to keep our employees busy during these much slower sales times and they have taken great pride being able to assist others
    • As things began to open back up, we expanded the program to include other Great Atlanta causes including the LGBTQ community.
    • It is great to live in such a wonderful place that we are able to directly help through this program.
