What should you do if you’re involved in an accident?
1. The first thing to do is to call 911 and not you’re attorney (if you think that you are at fault you should call your attorney after that).
2. Exchange contact and insurance information with the other driver and make note of their behavior, any odor of alcohol and anything they say but do not say anything about the cause of the accident yourself.
3. Listen to what the other driver says to anyone else at the scene including, if possible, the police officer.
4. Take pictures of the vehicles and surroundings.
5. Look for witnesses and get their contact information and statements unless your injuries, if any, prevent you from doing so.
6. Answer the police officer’s questions truthfully without volunteering unnecessary information (unless you’ve already spoken to your attorney and then follow their instructions; let the officer know if you’ve been injured even if you don’t need or want emergency transport to a hospital.

I am new to the Peachtree Team and very excited to have joined. I have not had an opportunity to give a 7-minute, so I will talk about a community support program that my business launched in March.
As a small business in Atlanta we are continuing to struggle through the pandemic, and we know we are not alone.
• During the stay-at-home we launched a fundraiser to give back to local small businesses – We call it the “I Heart Program”
• For every item sold that is co-branded with the business, we give back $10
• The give back is to help support the employees of the business
• Even though the fundraising amount reduces our profits, it helps to keep our employees busy during these much slower sales times and they have taken great pride being able to assist others
• As things began to open back up, we expanded the program to include other Great Atlanta causes including the LGBTQ community.
• It is great to live in such a wonderful place that we are able to directly help through this program.
