What To Do To Get Referrals: The Core is for Strength

The MentorCoOrdinator selects three mentors for each new Member, so they learn from friends.

  • What is the onboarding process in your company?
  • How do new clients learn what to expect in terms of their participation and responsibility, in order to get the best results from you?

I have a welcome email that spells out who does what in my office. I explain that they can always call, text, or email me, but given whatever issue they are having I will pass it off to another team member. Included in that email are contact cards for all the relevenat team members so the new client can save them in their phone or Outlook contacts. Tommy Schlosser 770-855-3113 txt friendly

Our client interaction normally begins with an email or a phone call.  We normally talk generalities and what their desire it along with the time frame for travel.  That gives me the initial information I need to offer up suggestions.  After that we'll move into a much more involved discussion about specifics...what they like about this property and now about another.  I also utilize an online form generator to capture pertinent information about my potential client.

Once we get to order stage we normally meet in person or on Zoom to walk through documents and make sure everyone is on the same page.  That leads us to the reservation stage where we secure their travel.

My onborading process includes an initail movement, speed and strength assessment. New clients learn what to expect based on their assessment results. For example if an athlete scores poorly on my 10 yd burst test the athlete knows he or she must work hard to improve their speed, strength and power. They learn my level of expectation as I coach them through the testing. After the initial assessment my athletes always know they must work to achieve their goals.

When a client begins with me, I send an email with the first steps.  I also give them access to my 15-Minute Spending Plan and Assistant Financial Coach resources we will use during their initial 3 months with me.

During our first session, we will go over the meeting structure and ground rules along with expectations I have for them.  I will also explain what they can and should expect from me in guiding them to their best outcome.

New clients learn what to expect in terms of their participation and responsibility, in order to get the best results from me, when we collectively decide on a concierge-style communication/ working agreement. We go over expectations including showing property schedules and hours of operation, and a signed agreement called The Promise promising my clients I will deliver a 5-star experience with extra commitments detailed out in that agreement, and I always connect new clients with past clients to provide that extra level of peer-driven rapport.

Compiling notes and a plan of action fit for my clients' life situation at the end of a consultation is the goal for onboarding. We will meet together with all decision makers, uncover what is important to them and (mostly) why it is important to them.
