Bookkeeping is boring. Cindy Boring, that is. Cindy takes the adventure out of her clients' ledgers and allows them to put that adventure back into their business. Comfort, clarity, and charm are the three words that best describe what she provides. While she works remotely, her clients like the comfort of having someone local they can work with. The problem she solves that she's most proud of is helping clients understand how they are doing in their business so they can plan for where to go next. That's the clarity Cindy provides - who owes them money, or where they spend too much. This clarity allows the business owner to make decisions. Southern charm is a key differentiator in her client approach, as bookkeepers often appear impersonal. Cindy's favorite family tradition also has Southern charm - her family's pink salad combines cream cheese, maraschino cherries, and fruit cocktail. However, she admits that it's not for everyone. Other business categories she could learn the most from are business and financial coaches, because they find creative ways to change many of the less desirable behaviors she often sees in her clients' books.
