It's my pleasure to introduce Nick Garrison who has a truly unique background blending corporate experience with a passion for dogs and community service. With a professional history as an Area Manager for Penske Truck Leasing, he spent years training and mentoring teams across the Eastern U.S., but their true love has always been working with dogs. Over the years, he has rescued, trained, and helped countless dogs, from fearful rescues to average mutts, using a positive reinforcement approach called LIMA — least intrusive, minimally aversive.
In 2006, he left the corporate world to start his own business and has been actively involved in community organizations like the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce and the Newnan Kiwanis Club. However, in 2019, his volunteer work with Healing4Heroes, a non-profit connecting service dogs with veterans, reignited his passion for dog training. He became a certified dog trainer and has since dedicated his time to helping families raise well-behaved pets.
On the personal side, Nick is a father of six and a grandfather to nine, with a knack for involving children in dog training. Whether working with puppies or grandkids, he brings humor, patience, and joy to every session. And when he is not training dogs or kids, you’ll find him on the golf course or immersed in a spy novel.
Please welcome Nick Garrison who’s not only a professional but a passionate dog trainer and community servant!
