"First up - the origin story. I asked if Tom remembers his first meeting."
- Oh yes! It was the pizza theme and nothing made sense. The person who invited me did not prepare me for that. They also did not prepare me for how genuine and kind everyone was. I got a great sense, being brand new to coaching, that these people would help me achieve what I wanted to do.
"Was the road smooth, then?"
- Through the process of writing InfoMinutes I realized a disconnect between who I was marketing toward and my best clients. I decided to take the hard path of going out on my own. My Team supported that. I had already started participating and referring, and so I started telling a different story about who I wanted to work with. It was an immediate resiliant stress test, and we all passed.
"When you talk about your experience, what's the crux you share?"
- When someone is evaluation I go beyond the We Did Business slip return on investment. When a Member works PowerCore the way it was designed they can't hide - they can't not work on their business. PowerCore forced me - and I see it doing the same for my Team Members - to look at how I do business, how I talk about my business, and the type of people I want to do business with. It's a compounding effort: InfoMinutes affect what I say on my website, and become blog posts. They inform the way I speak with customers, and prospects. There is a compounding dividend that come from the time I allocate to preparing for a PowerCore meeting.
- We're all on the same journey. We do different things, but my favorite thing about PowerCore Members is how they opperate with a generous spirit. Members want their story to intersect, and everyone is better because of that. The people who stick around are generous to others. They want everyone to benefit.
