Wendy Kinney: Brooks, Do you remember your very first meeting?

Brooks Macintosh: I do.

WK: And did you think it was weird?

Brooks: Uh, yeah, it was a little odd.

WK: And so what made you decide to join in the first place?

Brooks: I decided it was something I needed to do to get me out of my comfort zone. I was starting my business because I knew how to be a lawyer, but not how to build business. And, there were twenty-one people in the room who I could introduce myself to and tap into their networks.

WK: Nice. So when you think back over ten years, what's the big thing in your memory?

Brooks Macintosh: The big thing is the multitude of people who cycled in and out of the Team. There were 21 to start with, over time there have been 210. We have some mainstays and we've had many faces over the years, some of whom have remained in contact.
