Sometimes the meeting you almost don’t go to is the meeting you were supposed to have.

Sometimes the meeting you don’t want to go to is the meeting you were supposed to have.

Tuesday night, I got a text reminding me about a meeting with Carol, a bookkeeper.

My first thought was, “Ahhh! I did NOT put this on my calendar!”

My morning was packed. I tried moving things around—nothing worked. So I prayed, “Lord, work it out.”

The next morning, I got there early, and somehow every meeting that conflicted had been rescheduled.

I walked in, saw Carol already sitting there, and thought, Okay Lord…I’m supposed to be here.

We exchanged pleasantries.

Two hours later, we were hugging.

And this morning, we welcomed Carol to our PowerCore team!

All because I showed up, said yes—and then she said yes.

Sometimes opportunity isn’t hiding.

It’s waiting for you to show up.
