What To Say To Get Referrals: Personal Profile Page

An essential component of every InfoMinute is the Purple Card – 5 seconds about why you’re good at what you do. Use these prompts to share three:

  • Why did you choose this business? What about it just comes naturally to you?
  • What do you consider essential to your business success that you’ve worked hard to master?
  • Explain what a cliché means for you.

I'll pick the cliche: I educate my clients.

  • PowerCore has a five-part mentoring program.
  • PowerCore Members share success processes at Orientation Essentials each month.
  • PowerCore offers four extra workshops - Fill the Filing Cabinet, 7 Minute Presentation Workshop, Best Client Workshop, and GateOpener Workshop.
  • This year we rolled out two extra extra workshops: How to Build a Referral Marketing plan, and How to Benefit from an Association.
  • At InfoMinute Seminar I teach Members three different ways to create Purple Cards, like this.
  • All Members have my cell phone number and email address and I welcome their specific questions
  • I teach Members who ask how to leave profitably.
  • When a PowerCore Member does a 7 Minute Presentation there are FeedForward cards so they learn if they got their point across.

I chose this business as I am strong with math as well as people skills / social awareness.  I enjoy helping people and enjoy getting to know all about how I can help their families.  I've worked hard to master the presentation skills and facts about the market to be able to help people understand what it is they are putting their money into.  Cliche to me is they are all stock brokers trading stocks !!

I've been an avid traveler (and cruiser) for over 20 years.  My wife and I had planned lots of family vacations for ourselves and helped others create memorable trips.  Having been a father and a sales and marketing executive for over 20 years, helping others create memories and moments just comes naturally.

Paying attention to my clients and always working in their interest has helped me build a business from zero to nearly a million dollars a year in the last three years.  My clients continue to refer me to their families and friends, helping driving additional customers my way.

I try not to use cliches because I think you only use cliches when you don't have something original to say

The reason I started my Financial Coaching business was to help families that were experiencing the same financial struggles my wife and I went through and guide them to a better path forward.  It breaks my heart to see that so may are living paycheck to paycheck in the country (nearly 80%).

I am able to listen to a clients situation and guide them through simple steps to move forward.  Things that are essential to my business success is to be continually curious and to always get better at listening so I can hear what the underlying problems are with my clients and I can empower them to build their own success.

A cliche that I hear frequently is "Live For Today".  While am all about being present in the moment, making decisions about your finances without thinking about the future ramifications of those decisions is reckless and can lead to regrets that can take a long time to unwind.

I chose to be a dog trainer because of my love of dogs and understanding the importance of training using Positive reinforcement Methods. In my past I worked and trained individuals. With this experience I naturally can relate to people and of course their dog. Dog training is not about training the dog. It is about training the owner and family members on how to best relate to their dog in order to get the best behavior from their pet. The most important part of my program is ensuring that the dog owner understands how their dog learns and above all how to be patient when training.  There are a lot of dog cliche's but given our current political climate I am going to say  "If You Want a Friend in Washington, Get a Dog"

I became a Grief Coach as a direct result of experiencing my own losses. The trigger was the death of two very close and dear family members within months of each other, but upon learning more about grief I realized how my chaotic childhood had left me carrying around alot of unresolved grief...and when I caught a glimpse of what life could be like without that added weight and burden, I determined to not only resolve my own grief, but to get certified so I could share this gift with others, too. Luckily, this was also a fulfilment of a life-long interest in helping people, specifically in the area of emotional and mental wellness - I had long wished I'd chosen psychology as a career, having been a natural confidant and advisor since the playground. Two things that are essential to my work are areas that we all probaby think come naturally to us, but in reality can benefit from lots of training and practice: listening, and questioning. I probably spend 85-90% of my time with clients offering very deep listening, which has required me to become more and more comfortable in the presence of other peoples' strong emotions. And a very specific focus of my training as a coach has been to become better and better at crafting questions that both prompt people to reflect, and create space in which they can answer authentically, often discoverying their own truths in the process. Contrary to what you might imagine, the big skill there is in simplifying one's questions, rather than getting better at crafting impressively complex ones!

My profession chose me, as I was led by God to become a nurse. Over the course of 26 years, my nursing journey has been faith based. The last ten years of my nursing career has been in home care. It was evident that non medical home care services are needed for various individuals. Being able to keep someone independent, safe, and in a familiar environment is vital to someone's physical, emotional, and spiritual health. At New Day Private Home Care, we strive for excellence to provide exceptional care. Our cliche` : Our Family Caring for Yours. It is truly one family caring for another.
