What To Do To Give Referrals: INTROMinutes

INTROMinutes and referral introductions are the same – they’re about a Team Member.

Count three to your left. Imagine you’re introducing this Member to your favorite client.

What would you tell your client to transfer the credibility they’ve built with you?

When referring Sean Johnsen to one of my clients, I would let them know that Sean is an expert at assisting small businesses, making sure they have the proper insurance to cover all aspects of their business.  Sean is an insurance agent they know they can reach when he is needed.  He answers his phone when called and if you miss him, he will call you back the same day!  He will help advise them on the coverage they need and take the time to explain how the coverage will protect them.  Sean is the person you want on your team to help make sure your business continues running smoothly even in those unexpected situations.

I think you need to speak with Mark Chase for your accounting needs. I have worked with him for more than 13 years now and he has never failed to answer my calls or get back to me regarding my questions, and I have a lot of them. His knowledge level of the yearly changes in our tax code is always impressive and lets me get back to supporting the IT needs of my customers because I do not have to spend hours preparing taxes or figuring out those things on my own.

Patty Williamson is one of my favorite lending partners for several reasons first and foremost because of her excellent communication throughout every stage of the lending process. From the pre-approval   all the way through closing you never have to question where your client is in the process because Patty is so proactive at keeping everyone informed.  The other reason I love working with Patty is because she treats every client as an individual and looks at their personal needs and means. To determine the best possible loan product for them. She will also be honest and helpful in explaining what someone needs to do to get improve their situation to get a better loan offer/product or rate. I continue to recommend Patty for these reasons not only to my clients, but also to my other real estate agent peers.

Andres Inciarte is in the Web design business and has done some work for a couple of clients of mine.  I have found him to be very thorough in finding out all about my clients before even starting to work on improving, or in one case, setting up a new webpage.  He gives them a list of questions that, once answered, will give him the ammo he needs to put their personality onto the webpage.  He spends plenty of time to make sure that everything is in place and the client has approved all changes or updates he has provided and then they go live.  Andres is very conscienctious and organized in his work and I believe he will do a great job for you as well.

Maria Jimenez is high energy, eager and has a warm and cheerful personality. She puts the needs of her clients first and her accesibility to her clients keeps clients happy and reassured.  Maria also posses a great deal of Emotional Intelligence. She listens carefully to what her clients and prospects say to make sure they get the right insurance products that best fits their needs. What I like most about Maria's approach to her job is that she is a true problem solver.  Recently, she helped a family who had been displaced due to a fire to their home by coming up with more and more creative solutions to meet their various needs. I'm always happy to recommend Maria; she really loves what she does and it shows.

Sharna Ettinoffe is extremely conscientious - a trait you really want to have in a closing attorney.  She was doing mobile closings years before the pandemic and continues to offer that convenience to her clients.  Her fees for closing are lower than other closing attornies.  Sharna likes to make closings fun and festive.  What I admire most about Sharna is that her mission is to fully educate the buyers at closing.  She takes the time to go over each document making sure the buyers understand what they are signing and she explains the importance of purchasing title insurance.

My boss often says "To be interesting, be interested."  When I meet with a team member for coffee, I ask subtle questions about that person's personal background, as well as about their professional background.  I learn about their families, where they are from, where they went to school and sometimes what they do for fun.  That way, I can describe them as people, not just as "task doers."  In my opinion, that makes them sound more appealing to meet from a cient perspective.  It makes the person I am describing sound human.  People want to do business with people they like, but also those they may have something in common with or who seem interesting.  I try to find small things that make people I refer sound attractive, other than just their skill set.  This practice also makes me seem like know the person I am referring, and I think that makes my referral more credible.
