What To Do To Give Referrals: Action > Endorsement

An Endorsement Letter is counted as a way to give because it spotlights the beneficial action of a Member.

Prospects and Members of other Teams use them to decide who to call.

Share your process for an Endorsement Letter:

  • What triggers you to write it?
  • What's your secret sauce?
  • Ideally, how frequently do you plan to give?

There are a couple of reasons I will write an endorsement letter. One is when the service I received was TRULY above and beyond. We all rave when we’ve had a great experience, and I want to recognize the Member for doing what they do best.

The other is when a referral partner circles back to tell me how excited they were about a connection I made. That kind of feedback benefits everyone — it reinforces my value as a connector and keeps me top of mind, and it gives the referrer well-deserved recognition for a job well done.

Ideally, I aim to give at least one endorsement letter each month—it’s a simple way to show appreciation and builds trust and strengthens connections all around.

I write an Endorsement Letter when a Member’s impact lingers, when their follow-through makes me look good for referring them. That’s my trigger.

My secret sauce? I don’t just say what they did, I show how the client felt after they did it. An effective endorsement doesn’t just confirm skill; it confirms trust.

Ideally, I aim to write one a month. It’s like flossing simple, powerful, and it builds credibility one smile at a time.

Whether it's a personal experience or one from a client, truly showing excellence in the way the member conducts business is the key to writing an Endorsement Letter.

Focusing on the problem solved and the solution that the member provided will give the Endorsement Letter the impact to be a catalyst for future referrals.

What Triggers: Simply put-Good Business! If my referral or I experience a good business transaction, that is worthy of an endorsement letter from me.

Secret sauce: My secret sauce is to put emphasis on the problem solved.

Frequency: I plan to give an endorsement letter after every referral advises me of the good experience.

I’ve been in PowerCore for about a month and a half, and I’m learning how valuable Endorsement Letters can be. I haven’t written one yet, but I plan to when a Member follows through, keeps their word, and genuinely helps a client. When I do, I’ll keep it simple and highlight the outcome and the integrity they showed. My aim is to share one meaningful letter each month, as a way to recognize quality work and build trust.
