What To Do To Get Referrals: The Core is for Strength

The MembershipCore is selected by the MembershipCoOrdinator. The MembershipCore, chaired by the MCO, makes decisions to ensure the quality of our Team.

Two questions:

1: What are the quality decisions in your business,

and

2: Who is responsible for evaluating and deciding in your business, the way our MembershipCore does?

The quality decisions made for my business revolves around the products and services provided. When I first wrote out my dream luxury studio several years ago, I thought about everything. All the details - down to the type of toilet paper! Yes, the toilet paper. I wanted Charmin. So my studio has Charmin toilet paper.

Products - another sign of the luxury brand. I offer very high end folio boxes that are beautiful and would complement any home. The packaging is as equally luxurious - with my logo stamped in silver across the black box. Then the final packaging that my clients leave with their collections speaks luxury. Beautiful golden bags with tissue paper.

My goal when deciding what products to provide - is how will this be used in their home - will it be a treasured heirloom?

While my company sets standards & best practices, it is my responsibility to ensure they are being met and when not grossly out of line making exceptions. In insurance lingo, I'm considered the first line underwriter.  One that commonly comes in to question is revenue or the amount the potential client spends on insurance annualy.  There are guidelines for each account but for exceptional risk I will overlook those requirements. Because I am a one-person show, the "team members" that I include in my business are pieces of technology and software.  The decisions I make on what to add to my business are based on whether or not it will improve my client's experience of my coaching services.  Things that would make MY life easier, but have the effect of placing a barrier or lessening connection with my clients are NOT high-quality systems or processes to add to my business backend.  My main focus is on making sure my clients feel a personal connection with me and how I coach them.  Repetitive and redundant tasks are they type of things that I would "outsource" to technology or software so that my personal time and energy is saved to apply to making sure my clients are seen, supported, and well-cared for.

Quality decisions in travel have a lot to do with expectations and execution.  The expectations come from our clients and the execution resides with our travel suppliers.  When interviewing a potential client I can ask questions around their normal travel habits....what type of accommodations do you prefer, would you rather travel earlier in the day or later...which airlines do you normally fly on?

It's my job to evaluate the client's needs and select options for them that meet their needs.  There are certain suppliers I will not sell due to their reputation in the marketplace.  Others will sell them and it could cost me a sale, but its not worth the relatively high risk to the clients travel plans and my reputation.

The quality decisions in my business I would say are how exactly I am treating my patients, meaning what methods I think would be best to help that particular person heal, and how often they need to be seen in order to get there as quickly as possible. These decisions are the most important decisions in my business, because they are the things that will ultimately help patients feel better. Since I am the provider in my business, I will always be the only one making these quality decisions.
