3 years ago, when we were at Gabriel’s he patiently sat in his car until 7am waiting for someone, anyone to show up. What a surprise he got when he walked into a full 30 person meeting, IN PROGRESS, in the SIDE room at Gabriel’s!

He capitalized on subbing, a lot.  I asked him why he does not seem to sub as much anymore and he said because, “everybody saw how great and successful he was at this and took the Team seats!”

He is still a reader but he does do Audible now to fill windshield time.

When he is not working, you will find him at “The Mall.”  Why? Because that is his Grandson Miles favorite place to go and ride the escalators with Papa.

When we had lunch here yesterday, he paid with… wait for it… cash.  The new young server was a bit confused and had to figure out and try to explain how the change worked.

We can both get behind a quote he likes, “Health is like money, we never have a true idea of it’s value until we lose it.”

Let’s give it up loud and proud for Mr. Bruce “The Birdie” Sanders!
