This Monday, I am meeting with several subcontractors to look at a new 9,500 square foot commercial office buildout. The only problem is… I have very limited information to give them.
Instead of showing up Monday and having everyone stand around scratching their heads, I went to the jobsite ahead of time to take pictures, measurements, and gather as much information as possible.
Going the extra mile on the front end helps us respect our subcontractors’ time, get more accurate pricing, and give the client the best opportunity to receive a solid estimate without a bunch of surprises later.
That is why I am a good referral. When you connect me with a business owner, property manager, or someone planning a renovation, I do not just show up and hope for the best. I prepare, ask questions, and work hard to make the process easier for everyone involved.
So remember… limited information does not mean limited effort.
