At just 12 years old, Taylor Chastain dreamed of being a musician—
long hair, skinny jeans, and a guitar slung over his shoulder.
To fuel that dream, he started his first business at 17… as a landscaper.
One day, a client asked him to haul away some old toilets.
Taylor said yes—because helping out is just who he is.
He loaded them into his truck, drove to the dump…
and as those toilets smashed into pieces, something clicked.
Hauling junk? Faster. Easier. Way more fun.
He pivoted.
Up Up and Away Junk Removal was born.
He worked his way through school, built a business—
and never let go of the music.
Today, he plays bass—because, in his words,
“Bass players do the dirty work.”
From bass strings to broken things,
Taylor’s still cleaning up messes—and making it all look good.
So please help me welcome
the Dr. Pepper–loving, cigar-smoking, Chick-fil-A–devouring,
bass-thumping junk hauler himself—Taylor Chastain!
