Wendy Kinney

Wendy transformed her passion for connecting professionals into a thriving business that helps members perfect the art of referral-based networking. Not one to shy away from adventure, she earned her pilot's license to complete her college degree credits and learned to scuba dive. But the bold decision to move to Atlanta - solo without her husband George - to revamp PowerCore is what she calls "the most adventurous thing" she's ever done. What was supposed to be a six-week commitment turned into a nine-month slog. She says, "We'll go to heaven when we die 'cause we've already been to hell." Wendy is proud of how PowerCore helps members learn to talk about their business while focusing on what is most relevant to the person they’re speaking to, not making it about themself. She's witnessed members deliver impromptu wedding speeches and heartfelt eulogies with confidence, thanks to the weekly practice of explaining their businesses in a succinct and engaging way. She’s known for her tireless work ethic—following her father's advice that "you can be successful as long as you work a full half day, any 12 hours will do”.
