Craig Cushingham

Craig is a gentle soul committed to helping others, but it wasn’t always this way. As the youngest of five kids in California, Craig's temper was legendary. The kid with the flaming red hair had a legendary temper and always had a sarcastic comment to embarrass someone. He struggled with falling asleep, many nights lying awake for hours while his mind raced. He had no peace. That changed when he attended a Bible course and heard 2 Timothy 1:7 that says God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and sound mind. From the moment he reflected on “sound mind” his head hit the pillow and it never happened again. He had found peace. In college, as lead singer of the band Heartbeat, Craig would forget lyrics and would have trouble sleeping the night before a gig. There was no peace in pursuing a music career. When working in Florida, he struggled with not being allowed to practice his ministry as he saw fit and driving up to visit a friend in Georgia, as soon as he crossed the state line he felt peace. 6 weeks later, he moved to Georgia. As Craig has achieved peace in HIS life, his mission now is to bring that same peace he found 50 years ago to others by removing the anxiety of health insurance for the self-employed.
