My best client is a business owner with 15-20 employees. They never wash their own car and travel because they want to, not for work. They play golf during the day and spend lots of time with their families.

Three to my left is Tom Wallace who is a financial coach. A client I would invite to lunch with Tom and I would be Darian who is the CFO of an engineering firm. My "why" would be from the perspective of making a mutually valuable connection. Darian is always looking for ways to maximize profitability while Tom is looking for ways to grow his practice. Happier employees are generally better employees. With that said, I would plant a seed of opportunity by exploring how having a financial coach to come in and do a workshop for the company's employees might yield better productivity, less pressure for raises, and reduced turnover ultimately offering an area for improved profitability. That might open the door for Tom to make a pitch to offer group workshops as well as 1 on 1 private sessions for hire.  Making this meaningful connection would be a credibility win for me as well, especially if they are able to make a valuable deal happen.
