Every session puts me in a room a lot of Members never see. I'm on-site at a client's office, sitting across from an HR director or a VP between meetings, and they talk. They mention a new hire starting, an office move, a leadership change.

So I built one habit into every session. Before I pack up, I ask what's changing in their business this quarter, not for the photos, but because I'm listening for a name I can hand to someone at my table. I keep those notes in one place and review them every Monday night, so when Tuesday’s meeting starts, I already know who I'm bringing something to, not just who I'm hoping brings something to me.
