Preparation, timeliness, and communication are traits every scout is taught as very important life skills.  As a scout leader, the boys taught me just the same.  I couldn't ask them to follow these values unless I tried my best to live them myself.  Shortly later, I learned that when people start believing you as a scout leader and a Santa...I best reflect those images because they do come back at you when you don't.  No, I'm not perfect or even close. But I do my best at maintaining these.  My customers my not believe me right off the bat.  But it's much easier if I don't give them a reason to doubt.
