Services are paid at closing. Closing Cost are standard in the industry but may vary if someone pays points to lower the rate. The points go directly to the cost of the rate reduction and not to the Loan Officer. We are commission based on the loan amount at closing. The one product I haven't talked about much is construction to perm and what they entail. There are a lot of moving parts includidng but not limited to, the product type, property type, value and loan amount. This is on my radar but haven't begun my series on this type of loan type. I consider every aspect of my job to be profitable regardless of income earned. I receive my profitibility in simple loan counseling, guiding clients through one of the most important financial decisions they make in a lifetime and, bringing them comfort and knowledge. Knowledge and expertise is a tie with the importance of staying completely Client Centric. Client centric is front and center extending to all parties involved in the transaction beyond the client applying for a mortgage.
